The Lewisburg Patriots (Olive Branch, MS) softball nipped the visiting Northpoint Christian Trojans (Southaven, MS), 6-5 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Patriots now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northwest Rankin for a non-league outing on Friday, March 28. Lewisburg will encounter a Cougars team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over DeSoto Central (Southaven, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 13-2.
