The North Thurston Rams softball squad (Lacey, WA), 7-5 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting Peninsula Seahawks (Gig Harbor, WA)

With the triumph, Peninsula improves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Seahawks host Lakes (Lakewood, WA) to face the Lancers in a 3A South Sound contest on Friday, March 28. The Lancers enter the contest with a record of 0-4. Lakes lost 20-2 in their recent league contest against River Ridge (Lacey, WA)

The Rams now hold a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to River Ridge for a 3A South Sound contest on Monday, April 7. North Thurston will face a Hawks squad coming off a 13-8 non-league loss to Kelso (Kelso, WA). The Hawks record now stands at 5-3.
