The Woodrow Wilson Flying Eagles baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Midland Trail Patriots to 5 in the Flying Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Flying Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Independence (Coal City, WV). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Independence was overwhelmed by Nicholas County (Summersville, WV), 6-1, in a league match.

The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV). The Cavaliers go into the Coalfield A match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Greenbrier West was overwhelmed by Nicholas County (Summersville, WV), 5-3, in a non-league match.
