In Friday's non-league game, the host Lamar Silver Foxes baseball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Midlands STEM Charter Mavericks.

The Silver Foxes (6-3) will now prepare for their game against McBee (McBee, SC). The Panthers enter the non-league game with a 7-2 record. In their last game, McBee defeated Great Falls (Great Falls, SC), 7-1, in a league game.

Next, the Mavericks face the Lewisville Lions (Richburg, SC) in a 1A Region 3 game, on Friday, April 4. Midlands STEM Charter will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 11-3 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Central (Pageland, SC).
