The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Strawberry Crest Chargers (Dover, FL) and the visiting Middleton Tigers (Tampa, FL), saw Strawberry Crest's baseball team gain a win over Middleton by a tally of 17-2.

The Chargers (15-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lennard (Ruskin, FL). The Longhorns enter the non-league battle with a 7-10 record. In their last battle, Lennard prevailed over Riverview (Riverview, FL), 27-4, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Tigers face the Brandon Eagles (Brandon, FL) in a 4A District 9 battle, on Saturday, March 29. Middleton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-14 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 6-12 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Plant City (Plant City, FL).
