California High School Baseball - La Costa Canyon defeats Escondido
March 28, 2025: Escondido, CA 92026 In Friday's non-league game, the visiting La Costa Canyon Mavericks baseball team scored a close 12-5 win over the Escondido Cougars.
The Mavericks (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Rancho Buena Vista (Vista, CA). The Longhorns go into the non-league game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Rancho Buena Vista was overwhelmed by Poway (Poway, CA), 9-6, in a non-league game.
Next, the Cougars play the Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 17. Escondido will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
