March 29, 2025: Fresno, CA 93720 The Selma Bears baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Fresno Christian Eagles to 1 in the Bears non-league win on Saturday.
The Bears now hold a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Reedley for a Tri-County - Sequoia test on Wednesday, April 2. Selma will play a Pirates team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Lemoore (Lemoore, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 8-2.
With the defeat, Fresno Christian drops to 4-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to Morro Bay (Morro Bay, CA) to play the Pirates in a non-league test on Saturday, March 29. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 8-1. Morro Bay won 6-3 in their recent league test against Nipomo (Nipomo, CA)
