The Harrison County Thorobreds/Fillies (Cynthiana, KY) baseball the visiting Newport Central Catholic Thoroughbreds (Newport, KY), 6-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Thorobreds/Fillies now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Pendleton County for a District 38 challenge on Monday, March 31. Harrison County will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 21-6 non-league loss to Cooper (Union, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Newport Central Catholic drops to 3-3 on the year. The Thoroughbreds host Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 31.
