The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) and the visiting Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA), saw Saugus's baseball team gain a win over Sylmar by a tally of 3-1.

The Centurions (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Hart (Newhall, CA). The Hawks enter the Foothill battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, Hart held off Golden Valley (Santa Clarita, CA), 22-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Spartans face the North Hollywood Huskies (North Hollywood, CA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 3. Sylmar will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record. The Huskies enter the battle with a 1-7 record after their 10-0 league loss to San Fernando (San Fernando, CA).
