The Castro Valley Trojans volleyball squad (Castro Valley, CA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Junipero Serra Padres (San Mateo, CA)

With the win, Junipero Serra improves its record to 15-9 on the season. The Padres travel to St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA) to encounter the Wildcats in a WCAL battle on Tuesday, April 1. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 5-14. St. Ignatius College Preparatory lost 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Central (Fresno, CA)

The Trojans now own a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Berkeley for a West Alameda County - Foothill battle on Friday, April 11.
