The Ralls Jackrabbits routed the visiting Tulia Hornets softball squad by a count of 9-2 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Jackrabbits (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lockney (Lockney, TX). The Longhorns go into the 2A Region I District 3 battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Lockney was routed by Hamlin (Hamlin, TX), 10-0, in a non-league battle.

The Hornets now sport a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Shallowater for a 3A Region I District 2 battle on Tuesday, March 8. Tulia will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to Monahans (Monahans, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-2.
