The North Surry Greyhounds baseball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Alleghany Trojans to 1 in the Greyhounds non-league win on Tuesday.

The Greyhounds now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host South Iredell for a non-league test on Thursday, March 6. North Surry will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 3-1.
