In Tuesday's non-league test, the L.C. Bird Skyhawks (Chesterfield, VA) basketball squad defeated the visiting Lightridge Bolts (Aldie, VA), by a final score of 55-45.

Next, the Skyhawks clash with the Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league test, on Friday, March 7. L.C. Bird will attempt to upgrade on its 22-5 season record. The Colonels come into the test with a 24-3 record after their 45-25 non-league win over Potomac Falls (Sterling, VA).
