Caledonia Cavaliers (Caledonia, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting North Pontotoc Vikings (Ecru, MS), 8-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Caledonia upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to West Point (West Point, MS) to battle the Green Wave in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 8. The Green Wave come into the test with a record of 3-3. West Point lost 18-9 in their recent non-league test against East Webster (Maben, MS)

With the defeat, North Pontotoc falls to 2-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to Bruce (Bruce, MS) to battle the Trojans in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 16. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 1-4.
