The Walden Grove Red Wolves baseball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Empire Ravens to 2 in the Red Wolves non-league win on Thursday.

The Red Wolves now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Buena for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11. Walden Grove will play a Colts team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Marana (Tucson, AZ). The Colts record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Empire drops to 3-3 on the year. The Ravens host Ironwood Ridge (Tucson, AZ) to play the Nighthawks in a non-league test on Friday, March 7. The Nighthawks go into the test with a record of 5-1. Ironwood Ridge won 10-9 in their recent non-league test against Buena (Sierra Vista, AZ)
