The Ralls Jackrabbits baseball team scored 16 runs and held the host Friona Chieftans to 11 in the Jackrabbits non-league win on Thursday.

The Jackrabbits now own a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they host Crosbyton for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 11.

With the defeat, Friona drops to 1-9 on the year. The Chieftans host Dimmitt (Dimmitt, TX) to play the Bobcats in a 3A Region I District 2 test on Tuesday, March 11. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 4-3. Dimmitt lost 10-1 in their recent non-league test against Ropes (Ropesville, TX)
