McAllen Memorial Mustangs (McAllen, TX) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Veterans Memorial Chargers (Brownsville, TX), 8-1 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, McAllen Memorial advances its record to 4-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to La Joya (La Joya, TX) to battle the Coyotes in a non-league match on Friday, March 7. The Coyotes come into the match with a record of 6-4. La Joya won 5-1 in their recent non-league match against Rowe (McAllen, TX)
