South Carolina High School Soccer - Emerald nudges Travelers Rest
March 6, 2025: Travelers Rest, SC 29690 In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Emerald Vikings soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Travelers Rest Devildogs.
The Vikings (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Wren (Piedmont, SC). The Hurricanes go into the AAAA Region 1 outing with a 3-2 record. In their last outing, Wren got by West-Oak (Westminster, SC), 5-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Devildogs confront the Seneca Bobcats (Seneca, SC) in a AAAA Region 2 outing, on Tuesday, March 11. Travelers Rest will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Bobcats go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 non-league win over West-Oak (Westminster, SC).
