March 6, 2025: Columbia, SC 29212 The Irmo Yellow Jackets soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Batesburg-Leesville Panthers to 0 in the Yellow Jackets non-league victory on Thursday.
The Yellow Jackets now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they host May River for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 8. Irmo will play a Sharks squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Ashley Ridge (Summerville, SC). The Sharks record now stands at 0-2.
With the loss, Batesburg-Leesville moves to 1-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Lexington (Lexington, SC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 11.
