The Santa Teresa Desert Warriors baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Parkland Matadors to 0 in the Desert Warriors non-league win on Friday.

The Desert Warriors now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they host Andress for a non-league test on Saturday, March 8. Santa Teresa will play a Eagles team coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Irvin (El Paso, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-8.

With the defeat, Parkland drops to 4-8 on the year. The Matadors travel to Horizon (El Paso, TX) to play the Scorpions in a 5A Region I District 2 test on Tuesday, March 11. The Scorpions go into the test with a record of 11-4. Horizon won 18-5 in their recent non-league test against Da Vinci (El Paso, TX)
