In Saturday's non-league game, the host Praise Academy Lions baseball team scored a close 9-8 victory over the Oakwood Christian Eagles.

The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Cornerstone Prep Academy (Acworth, GA). The enter the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Cornerstone Prep Academy was tipped by Pinecrest Academy (Cumming, GA), 12-2, in a non-league game.

Next, the Eagles face the Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts Eagles (Chattanooga, TN) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 10.
