Georgia High School Soccer - Lake Oconee Academy knocks off Putnam County
April 1, 2025: Eatonton, GA 31024 The Lake Oconee Academy Titans (Greensboro, GA) soccer overwhelmed the host Putnam County War Eagles (Eatonton, GA), 10-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Titans now hold a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to North Oconee for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 3. Lake Oconee Academy will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 2-2 non-league Jackson County (Jefferson, GA). The Titans record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, Putnam County moves to 3-11 on the year. The War eagles host Toombs County (Lyons, GA) to encounter the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 4. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a record of 7-6. Toombs County won 2-1 in their recent league challenge against Woodville-Tompkins (Savannah, GA)
