The Blacklick Valley Vikings softball squad (Nanty Glo, PA), was routed 25-7 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the visiting North Star Cougars (Boswell, PA)

With the triumph, North Star improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to Berlin Brothersvalley (Berlin, PA) to face the Mountaineers in a Inter County - West contest on Thursday, April 3. The Mountaineers enter the contest with a record of 1-0. Berlin Brothersvalley won 13-8 in their recent non-league contest against Everett (Everett, PA)

The Vikings now hold a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Penns Manor for a non-league test on Friday, April 4. Blacklick Valley will clash with a Comets squad coming off a 5-2 non-league win over Moniteau (West Sunbury, PA). The Comets record now stands at 1-0.
