Arkansas High School Softball - Quitman bounces Marshall
April 1, 2025: Quitman, AR 72131 The Quitman Bulldogs softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Marshall Bobcats to 2 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rison for a non-league battle on Friday, April 4. Quitman will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 19-4 league win over Dumas (Dumas, AR). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Marshall moves to 4-6 on the season. The Bobcats host Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR) to confront the Timberwolves in a 2A Region 2 battle on Thursday, April 3. The Timberwolves come into the battle with a record of 7-4. Cedar Ridge won 18-3 in their recent league battle against Mammoth Spring (Mammoth Spring, AR)
