The Tri-County RVT Cougars (Franklin, MA) baseball trounced the visiting Assabet Valley RVT Aztecs (Marlborough, MA), 12-5 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Shore Vo-Tech for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 14. Tri-County RVT will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Westport (Westport, MA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Assabet Valley RVT drops to 0-4 on the year. The Aztecs travel to Bay Path RVT (Charlton, MA) to clash with the Minutemen in a Colonial challenge on Monday, April 14. The Minutemen go into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Bay Path RVT won 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Montachusett RVT (Fitchburg, MA)
