The Loyd Star Hornets baseball squad (Brookhaven, MS), was nudged 3-2 in Thursday's non-league bout with the visiting Columbia Wildcats (Columbia, MS)

Next up, the Wildcats encounter the Amite School Center Rebels (Liberty, MS) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 14. Columbia will attempt to upgrade on its 15-9 season record. The Rebels enter the bout with a 7-5 record after their 2-1 league win over Centreville Academy (Centreville, MS).
