In Thursday's league game, the host Palma Chieftains baseball team scored a close 4-2 win over the St. Francis Sharks.

The Chieftains (12-2) will now prepare for their game against Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA). The Lancers go into the non-league game with a 13-4 record. In their last game, Saint Francis nudged Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA), 9-0, in a league game.

Next, the Sharks play the Carmel Padres (Carmel, CA) in a PCAL - Gabilan game, on Tuesday, April 15. St. Francis will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Padres go into the game with a 11-4 record after their 11-2 non-league loss to Saint Francis (Mountain View, CA).
