Florida High School Softball - Freedom topped by East Bay

East Bay Indians (Gibsonton, FL) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Freedom Patriots (Tampa, FL), 16-4 in a league game.

With the triumph, East Bay upgrades its record to 8-12 on the year. The Indians travel to Wharton (Tampa, FL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 15. The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 9-9.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Blake Yellow Jackets (Tampa, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 15. Freedom will attempt to advance on its 2-12 season record. The Yellow Jackets go into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 27-19 non-league loss to Armwood (Seffner, FL).
