South Carolina High School Soccer - Greer Middle College knocks off Providence
April 11, 2025: Lexington, SC 29073 In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting Greer Middle College Blazers soccer squad scored a tight 3-0 victory over the Providence Panthers.
The Blazers (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Chapman (Inman, SC). The Panthers go into the AAA Region 3 outing with a 7-2 record. In their last match, Chapman nipped Broome (Spartanburg, SC), 13-0, in a league match.
The Panthers now sport a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Richland Northeast for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 15. Providence will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 1-0 league win over South Pointe (Rock Hill, SC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 8-7.
