The Montwood Rams softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Coronado Thunderbirds to 1 in the Rams league win on Friday.

The Rams now possess a 25-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastwood for a 6A Region I District 1 battle on Tuesday, April 15. Montwood will confront a Troopers team coming off a 17-0 league win over Coronado (El Paso, TX). The Troopers record now stands at 28-4.

With the loss, Coronado moves to 9-23 on the season. The Thunderbirds host Eastwood (El Paso, TX) to confront the Troopers in a 6A Region I District 1 battle on Saturday, April 12. The Troopers come into the battle with a record of 26-4. Eastwood won 26-15 in their recent league battle against Franklin (El Paso, TX)
