April 12, 2025: Colorado Springs, CO 80906 The Cheyenne Mountain Red-Tailed Hawks (Colorado Springs, CO) soccer nipped the visiting Pueblo County Hornets (Pueblo, CO), 3-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Red-Tailed Hawks now hold a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Palmer Ridge for a 4A Pikes Peak challenge on Thursday, April 17. Cheyenne Mountain will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 1-1 league Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO). The Bears record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, Pueblo County moves to 5-1 on the year. The Hornets travel to Pueblo Central (Pueblo, CO) to encounter the Wildcats in a 4A/3A South Central challenge on Tuesday, April 15. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Pueblo Central lost 4-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Harrison (Colorado Springs, CO)
