The French Settlement Lions softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Northshore Panthers to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Saturday.

The Lions (15-11) will now prepare for their bout against Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league bout with a 8-19 record. In their last bout, Denham Springs was routed by St. Amant (St. Amant, LA), 11-1, in a league bout.
