The Evergreen Cougars (Evergreen, CO) lacrosse routed the host Poudre School District Stars (Fort Collins, CO), 16-8 in Monday's non-league outing.

The Cougars now own a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dakota Ridge for a 4A West outing on Thursday, April 17. Evergreen will face a Eagles squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to Golden (Golden, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.

With the loss, Poudre School District falls to 5-4 on the year. The Stars travel to Fairview (Boulder, CO) to face the Knights in a 5A West outing on Thursday, April 17. The Knights go into the outing with a record of 7-3. Fairview lost 11-6 in their recent league outing against Valor Christian (Highlands Ranch, CO)
