The North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC) baseball trounced the visiting South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC), 17-5 in Tuesday's league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they host East Wilkes for a Northwest 1A challenge on Wednesday, April 16. North Stokes will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 13-0 league win over Alleghany (Sparta, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 11-4.

With the defeat, South Stokes drops to 8-10 on the year. The Sauras host North Stokes (Danbury, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a Northwest 1A challenge on Thursday, April 17.
