Georgia High School Soccer - Academy for Classical Education knocks off Morgan County
April 15, 2025: Madison, GA 30650 The Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA) soccer overwhelmed the host Morgan County Bulldogs (Madison, GA), 4-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Gryphons now hold a 14-2 record. They play next when they travel to Dublin for a 1A D-I Region 2 challenge on Thursday, April 17. Academy for Classical Education will encounter a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Claxton (Claxton, GA). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 0-10.
With the loss, Morgan County moves to 10-4 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA) to encounter the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 17. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 11-6. Oconee County won 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Parkview (Lilburn, GA)
