April 15, 2025: Barnesville, GA 30204 The Lamar County Trojans (Barnesville, GA) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Jackson Red Devils (Jackson, GA), 5-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Trojans now hold a 10-6 record. They play next when they host Bleckley County for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 18. Lamar County will encounter a Royals squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Northside (Warner Robins, GA). The Royals record now stands at 10-5.
With the loss, Jackson moves to 3-11 on the year. The Red devils travel to Rutland (Macon, GA) to encounter the Hurricanes in a 2A Region 2 challenge on Thursday, April 17. The Hurricanes go into the challenge with a record of 5-10. Rutland lost 5-0 in their recent league challenge against Callaway (Hogansville, GA)
