The DeSoto Central Jaguars softball squad (Southaven, MS), was routed 3-0 in Tuesday's league contest with the visiting Hernando Tigers (Hernando, MS)

With the triumph, Hernando improves its record to 26-1 on the year. The Tigers host Oxford (Oxford, MS) to face the Chargers in a 7A Region 1 contest on Thursday, April 17. The Chargers enter the contest with a record of 12-14. Oxford lost 14-0 in their recent league contest against Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS)

The Jaguars now hold a 22-3 record. They play next when they host Olive Branch for a non-league contest on Thursday, April 17. DeSoto Central will face a Conquistadors squad coming off a 23-11 non-league win over Horn Lake (Horn Lake, MS). The Conquistadors record now stands at 2-15.
