Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC) fans left the game pleased Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Morehead Panthers (Eden, NC), 10-8 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Dixon advances its record to 8-9 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Wilmington Christian Academy (Wilmington, NC) to battle the Patriots in a non-league match on Monday, April 21. The Patriots come into the match with a record of 3-13. Wilmington Christian Academy lost 4-2 in their recent non-league match against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC)

The Panthers now have a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reidsville for a Mid-State 2A battle on Tuesday, April 22.
