In Wednesday's non-league game, the host Millbrook Wildcats baseball team scored a close 14-11 win over the Garner Trojans.

The Wildcats (15-6) will now prepare for their game against Knightdale (Knightdale, NC). The Knights go into the Northern Athletic 4A game with a 5-13 record. In their last game, Knightdale nudged South Garner (Garner, NC), 12-1, in a non-league game.

Next, the Trojans play the Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a Greater Neuse River 4A game, on Thursday, April 17. Garner will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Storm go into the game with a 7-8 record after their 5-2 league loss to Garner (Garner, NC).
