New Hampshire High School Lacrosse - Derryfield overwhelms Winnacunnet
April 16, 2025: Manchester, NH 03104 The Derryfield Cougars (Manchester, NH) lacrosse routed the visiting Winnacunnet Warriors (Hampton, NH), 13-7 in Wednesday's league outing.
The Cougars now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Goffstown for a Division II outing on Friday, April 18. Derryfield will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 12-11 league win over St. Thomas Aquinas (Dover, NH). The Grizzlies record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Winnacunnet falls to 1-1 on the year. The Warriors host Spaulding (Rochester, NH) to clash with the Red Raiders in a Division II challenge on Friday, April 18. The Red Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Spaulding lost 14-1 in their recent league challenge against Oyster River (Durham, NH)
