April 16, 2025: Blythewood, SC 29016 The Blythewood Bengals soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Woodland Wolverines to 0 in the Bengals non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Bengals now hold a 14-3 record. They play next when they host Swansea for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 22. Blythewood will play a Tigers squad coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Powdersville (Greenville, SC). The Tigers record now stands at 10-5.
With the loss, Woodland moves to 4-13 on the year. The Wolverines host Academic Magnet (North Charleston, SC) to play the Raptors in a AA Region 6 bout on Tuesday, April 22. The Raptors go into the bout with a record of 16-1. Academic Magnet lost 2-1 in their recent league bout against Philip Simmons (Charleston, SC)
