The First Flight Nighthawks baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Pasquotank County Panthers to 2 in the Nighthawks league win on Thursday.

The Nighthawks now hold a 12-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whiteville for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 22. First Flight will play a Wolfpack team coming off a 6-3 league win over East Bladen (Elizabethtown, NC). The Wolfpack record now stands at 14-2.

With the defeat, Pasquotank County drops to 2-11 on the year. The Panthers travel to Perquimans (Hertford, NC) to play the Pirates in a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 15-4. Perquimans won 14-2 in their recent league test against Gates County (Gatesville, NC)
