The Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) baseball the visiting Montgomery Aztecs (San Diego, CA), 8-5 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 5-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grossmont for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 19. Steele Canyon will clash with a Foothillers team coming off a 10-7 league win over Valhalla (El Cajon, CA). The Foothillers record now stands at 9-8.
