The Calvary Christian Knights baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Brookstone Cougars to 7 in the Knights league win on Friday.

The Knights now own a 13-11 record. They take the field next when they host St. Anne-Pacelli for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 5 test on Tuesday, April 22. Calvary Christian will play a Vikings team coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA). The Vikings record now stands at 11-12.

With the defeat, Brookstone drops to 17-5 on the year. The Cougars travel to Strong Rock Christian (Locust Grove, GA) to play the Patriots in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 5 test on Tuesday, April 22. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 10-13. Strong Rock Christian won 5-4 in their recent league test against Westfield School (Perry, GA)
