The Palmetto Mustangs softball squad (Williamston, SC), was routed 7-3 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers (Greer, SC)

With the triumph, Blue Ridge improves its record to 12-6 on the year. The Fighting Tigers host Pickens (Pickens, SC) to encounter the Blue Flame in a AAAA Region 2 outing on Monday, April 21. The Blue Flame come into the outing with a record of 11-1. Pickens won 4-3 in their recent league outing against Greer (Greer, SC)

With the loss, Palmetto moves to 8-11 on the season. The Mustangs travel to St. Joseph's Catholic (Greenville, SC) to encounter the Knights in a AAA Region 2 outing on Tuesday, April 22.
