In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Bay Port Pirates lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-2 win over the Middleton Cardinals.

The Pirates (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Wausau East (Wausau, WI). The Lumberjacks enter the Bay Valley Conference contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Wausau East nipped De Pere (De Pere, WI), 11-7, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Cardinals meet the Verona Wildcats (Verona, WI) in a Madison Area contest, on Friday, April 25. Middleton will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
