New York High School Softball - Cohoes bounces Watervliet
April 19, 2025: Cohoes, NY 12047 The Cohoes Tigers softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Watervliet Cannoneers to 0 in the Tigers non-league win on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Voorheesville for a Section 2 Colonial battle on Monday, April 21. Cohoes will confront a Blackbirds team coming off a 6-3 non-league loss to Maple Hill (Castleton on Hudson, NY). The Blackbirds record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, Watervliet moves to 3-4 on the season. The Cannoneers host Taconic Hills (Craryville, NY) to confront the Titans in a Section 2 Patroon battle on Tuesday, April 22. The Titans come into the battle with a record of 6-2. Taconic Hills lost 14-1 in their recent non-league battle against Schalmont (Schenectady, NY)
