Illinois High School Softball - Pearl City bounces West Carroll
April 19, 2025: Savanna, IL 61074 In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Pearl City Wolves softball team scored a nice 16-2 win over the West Carroll Thunder.
The Wolves (11-8) will now prepare for their match against Pecatonica (Pecatonica, IL). The Indians come into the Northwest Upstate Illini - North match with a 6-7 record. In their last match, Pecatonica notched a victory over Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL), 7-4, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Thunder battle the Galena Pirates (Galena, IL) in a NUIC West match, on Tuesday, April 22. West Carroll will attempt to better on its 5-13 season record. The Pirates come into the match with a 9-3 record after their 10-3 non-league win over Dakota (Dakota, IL).
