The North Tahoe Lakers baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Silver Stage Nighthawks to 2 in the Lakers league victory on Saturday.

The Lakers (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Pershing County (Lovelock, NV). The Mustangs go into the 2A Northern match with a 1-13 record. In their last match, Pershing County was overwhelmed by West Wendover (West Wendover, NV), 17-3, in a league match.

The Nighthawks (3-8) will now prepare for their match against Mineral County (Hawthorne, NV). The Serpents go into the non-league match with a 3-7 record.
