Texas High School Softball - Yates bounces Kashmere
April 2, 2025: Houston, TX 77028 The Yates Lions softball team scored 33 runs and held the host Kashmere Fighting Rams to 11 in the Lions league win on Wednesday.
The Lions now possess a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Worthing for a 4A Region III District 21 battle on Thursday, April 3. Yates will confront a Colts team coming off a 20-19 league loss to North Forest (Houston, TX). The Colts record now stands at 3-7.
With the loss, Kashmere moves to 0-6 on the season. The Fighting rams host Northside (Houston, TX) to confront the Panthers in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 5. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 10-0. Northside won 19-4 in their recent league battle against Worthing (Houston, TX)
